This page allows you to change your Personal Identification Number (PIN) and manage your TAN numbers.

Change PIN
This option allows you to change your current Personal Identification Number (PIN).
Permitted characters for use in PINs:
For your own security, please compose a PIN that will be difficult to guess. An ideal combination would be a combination of five letters and numbers, such as H5n1x, kla4T.

To change your PIN
Please note: PINs always have to be entered in the exact same way. If, for example, you were to mistakenly enter capitals instead of lower case letters, the system would identify this as an error. You can make up to three errors when entering your PIN, after which your access to online banking will be blocked for security reasons. To unblock you account, please get in touch with your Sparkasse.

View used TAN
This page shows the number of TANs you have already used, and the date and time at which you used each TAN. Unused TANs will be shown with "------".
Activate smsTAN
If you have not yet registered for smsTAN, you can do so here.
If you have already provided your Sparkasse with a mobile phone number, you can select that number here for your smsTAN. If you have not yet provided a mobile phone number or would like to register a new one, simply enter it.
Next, enter a name for the mobile phone number in the Phone name field (e.g. "mobile1").
Manage smsTAN
This page shows all of the mobile phone numbers registered for smsTAN. It contains the following options:
Register mobile phone number for smsTAN
This function allows you to register an existing mobile phone for receiving smsTANs. You can register up to five different mobile phone numbers at the same time for smsTAN. Once an existing mobile phone number has been successfully registered, it will be shown with the status Registered.
Enter mobile phone number
This function allows you to enter a new mobile phone number and subsequently register and activate that number for use with smsTAN.
Activate mobile phone number
This function allows you to activate mobile phone numbers you have registered for smsTAN for receiving smsTANs. To do so, simply enter the activation code you will have been sent by SMS to the mobile phone number you want to activate.
Once an existing mobile phone number has been successfully activated, it will be shown with the status Activated.
Change mobile phone number
This function allows you to edit the mobile phone numbers you are using for smsTAN.
The edit options available are:
Deactivate mobile phone number
This function allows you to deactivate a mobile phone number entered under Manage smsTAN. Please note that deactivating a mobile phone number requires entering a TAN.
Please note: If you have deactivated all activated or registered mobile phone numbers, you will only be able to register a new mobile phone number through your Sparkasse.
General information on smsTAN
smsTAN protects you from undetected real-time attacks (such as phishing) by sending additional order-related data to your mobile phone along with the smsTAN. Every smsTAN is only valid for a limited time and a specific order. All SMS-capable mobile phones with a German mobile phone number are suitable for use for smsTAN. smsTAN cannot be used with SMS-capable landline telephones.
